Christian Discipleship Training (CDT)
Christian Discipleship Training is all about helping kids learn the basic, powerful truths of the Christian faith and how to apply them in their everyday lives. The first two years of study (usually 6th and 7th grade) involve learning how to use and study the Bible. The third year (usually 8th grade) is all about practical application. What does it look like when a teenager believes this stuff? How will that work out at school, in the mall, at parties, and with friends? CDT is not something you graduate from (although many of the students involved do decide to go through Confirmation, a service in which they declare their personal commitment to Christ and the Church). CDT is something that prepares you for living out your faith in Christ for the rest of your life.
